A Place With A Story
Long before it became Matanzas Launch, this waterfront property was home to the historic Cochran's Oyster House. For generations, the Cochran family worked these waters, harvesting oysters from the Matanzas River and carrying on a tradition that helped shape the local community. Today, the property has been thoughtfully reimagined as a peaceful waterfront retreat while honoring its roots. The same quiet marshes and stunning sunsets remain, and if you wander down to the dock, you'll still find oyster shells scattered along the shoreline—a lasting reminder of the generations who once worked these waters.
