The front portion of this structure dates back to approximately 1890. It was later relocated to its current site, and in the early 1900s, an addition was constructed on the north side. The seam—just to the left of the porch—still marks where the original structure meets the expansion. By the 1930s, the property had come into the care of the Feiden family and passed through many hands over the decades. Among its notable chapters was its time as home to Atlantique Press, a printing company operated by Henry Hird III, now known as the owner of Visit St. Augustine. Over the years, the building has served a variety of purposes, housing businesses, restaurants, and residents.

Prior to our acquisition, an attempted renovation significantly altered and removed much of the historic interior. Recognizing the importance of preserving this site, our team undertook a careful restoration with the goal of honoring its original character. To protect the structure from future flooding, the house was elevated four feet and repositioned ten feet to allow for the addition of four new units at the rear. The front porch was meticulously restored to its original proportions, and trim details were thoughtfully recreated to reflect the craftsmanship and style of the home’s original period. The front half (the original building) and the back extension were turned into a total of 8 unique suites that reflect the style and history of St. Augustine's culture and heritage.
