Welcome to the Florida Room at The Blue Carriage House! This sunlit suite features a plush KING BED, a fully equipped KITCHEN, DOUBLE SHOWER bathroom and a comfortable sofa that folds out to a full-size bed. Located one block from St. George Street, enjoy a short walk to the Matanzas Bay riverfront, Castillo de San Marcos, and the Bridge of Lions. With its warm and inviting atmosphere, this room captures the essence of Florida’s charm and hospitality. Other things to note • ONE FREE PARKING PASS is included with your stay for the Historic Downtown Parking Facility at 1 Cordova Street (approximately a 7-minute walk from the house). *Important* The parking pass does not guarantee a spot. Parking is available on a first come - first serve basis (1,200 spots). Most of the time this is not an issue, with the exception of some major holiday events. More details will be provided before arrival. • While downtown’s vibrancy is part of its charm, we provide earplugs for light sleepers to ensure a comfortable stay. The City of St. Augustine has a noise ordinance that prohibits excessive noise between the hours of 10:00pm-6:00am Sunday-Thursday, and 11:00pm-7:00am Friday-Saturday. • This room is on the second floor. Guests must climb a standard stair set to reach the front porch exterior door, then a historic staircase (steeper and narrower than modern stairs).

This was a fantastic place to stay. In the heart of St Augustine and very walkable. It was decorated beautifully and everything was clean and well taken care of. The bed was actually comfortable! Kitchen had everything you would need. One thing to note. If you get a room on the 2nd floor the stairs are narrow and step (old house issues) this was manageable for us but maybe more difficult for older people with luggage. Also if your room is on the south side you will hear the central trash compacting bin that every restaurant around uses very early in the morning. Again we didn’t mind but some people might be light sleepers. Ask for a room on other side. We loved this stay and would 100% book again when visiting our Flagler College student.

This place was outstanding to stay during our trip! We were in St. Augustine for my birthday week and everything was walkable. The room was nice, large, and comfy. We had issues with the ac the first night and Paul was very quick to respond and provide additional accommodation if needed. We will definitely stay here again if ever in St. Augustine again!

The Blue Carriage house was perfect! A short walk to the Castillo and the water, and surrounded by amazing local shops and restaurants. The surrounding area is brimming with life. As some other folks have mentioned, there is live music nearby at night until about 10pm(ish) and some morning trash pick ups. Paul does provide ear plugs which was an awesome detail! We were not bothered by either, even without the earplugs. The black out curtains were great, too. Communication with Paul was excellent and his attention to detail including some of the provided freebies-coffee, tea, olive oil, etc was great! The place was immaculate, and felt like home. I honestly wish our stay could have been longer, but we were passing through for an event. We will definitely be back!!! If I could give this place 100 stars, I would! Thank you Paul for a perfect spot!

Good stay, host is super communicative, we have allergies and Paul was super with making sure the cleaners didn't use certain products. The place is clearly older than the pictures, there were some broken bits, and we couldn't open our windows as we were the unit right above the neighborhood trash compactor which is stinky. however, the AC worked very well, it felt private enough even though it was in the middle of all the hustle bustle which was also awesome.
